Briana Price

A Southern California native, Briana grew up swimming competitively and dancing. She was introduced to yoga as a young athlete, and always felt called to explore yoga more deeply. New York city was the next stop for her, where she attended college and dove into the world of professional dance. Her dance career allowed her many beautiful experiences and a richer appreciation for the power of movement. After an injury, she craved a more mindful form of movement, which led her back into the arms of yoga. She has been a dedicated yogi ever since completing her teacher training. Briana is excited to share and learn and grow with everyone at Hot 8!

Jane Johnsen

Formerly a competitive dancer with a background in theater, Jane Johnsen was first introduced to yoga through the dance community and was hooked after her first savasana *Nap time, yes please!*

After a decade of practicing yoga in the heat as a means to escape the frigid winters in Chicago, she finally bought a one-way ticket to the west coast to follow her acting dreams. Once in LA, Jane quickly discovered the strong, inviting community at Hot8. Three years later, she decided to take her practice to the next level and began to share her love of yoga with the community as a teacher.

Jane creates an experience of discovery in each of her classes, with her signature comedienne humor and curated soundtracks making each challenge FUN. Whether you leave with a new favorite song, a new workout plan, or a new mindset, one thing is for sure; you’ll walk out of the studio feeling amazing from the inside, out!

Kat Grant

Kat, a Michigan native, first stepped onto the mat at Yoga for Performers class in college. She found yoga to be endlessly therapeutic for the mind, body and spirit. As a performing artist, yoga was particularly helpful in learning to control the breath and to ease the mind. Kat has always been passionate about connecting her two loves of yoga and music, so when she had the opportunity to join the Hot 8 community, she immediately jumped on board. She brings comfort and warmth to those around her, and she is excited to encourage others to find peace on and off the mat just as she has!

Damara Titmus

Damara is a Los Angeles native who found a love for dance at the early age of seven. She studied ballet for many years under the direction of Patrick Franz, former Premier Danseur of the Paris Opera Ballet, and later graduated from Idyllwild Arts Academy under the direction of Jean-Marie Martz.
Her professional career brought her to Denver, Colorado for many years where she learned the importance of cross training to help her body recover from injuries and sustain her most valuable instrument, her body. After experiencing years of pain in her hips, she found Pilates, which helped her to regain her core strength and align her body more symmetrically. When she returned to Los Angeles, she found a way to combine this Pilates knowledge with her knowledge of ballet and began teaching a Lotte Berk inspired Barre workout for Pop Physique in 2015.
Damara was introduced to Hot 8 Yoga through friend and now Pasadena Yoga Director, Devon Riesenbeck. After taking her first Yoga Barre class with instructor Miriam, she was completely hooked. While the movements were all very familiar to her, there was something about the Hot 8 teaching style and vibe that resonated so deeply. She found herself leaving class more fulfilled and happy, letting go of her self-doubts and criticisms (a difficult task for a ballet dancer), not to mention feeling fantastic physically! Damara is excited to share her passion for movement and fitness with all of her students. She strives to provide an environment that is welcoming, safe, and fun. See you in class!

Anna Palms

specializes in all types of flow and hatha yoga and she also teaches barre and yoga sculpt, so she is especially good at helping to build strength and stamina in a yoga practice. You will enjoy Anna's methods if you are looking for a challenge and a change of mind. She is also an expert on alignment and keeping you safe in each and every pose. Having had her own injuries over the years--feet, knees, shoulders--she has been able to employ yoga as a way to heal from those injuries and she loves to be able to share her experience with others. When you practice with Anna, you feel a balance of sthira (strength) and sukha (softness), leaving her sessions with united sense of harmony in body and mind. Extremely grateful to have a yoga practice, Anna is thrilled to share it with her community and beyond.
Hot Power Fusion $8 Community class taught by our recent graduates!

This shoulder friendly distinctive class is a combination of Hot Yoga and Power Yoga without the Chaturangas. Hot Power Fusion blends the therapeutic benefits of Hot Yoga and strengthening aspects of Power that is accessible for all levels; temp 105-109

**Must purchase the $8 Community class at the studio. It is not available online.
All who have a 10 class package will need to purchase the $8 class separately from your current package.

Those with memberships and yearly contracts, this class will be deducted from your current membership. It is included in your membership.
