Yoga Sculpt

This class is taught by:

Carli Kline

Native to Sunny Southern California, Carli grew up living an active lifestyle. It wasn’t long before she developed a love for yoga sculpt. Carli started teaching Yoga Sculpt 2 years ago and has been practicing for 5 year. As yoga transformed her life, she wanted to inspire others with its gift. Yoga’s teachings have brought connection between mind and body awareness, peace of mind, and the feeling of being grounded into her life. Always open to growing and connecting, Carli continues to inspire, be inspired by her students and practice.

Kristen Schanck

Kristen, a New Jersey native, found her yoga practice roughly five years ago after graduating from college and moving back home with her father who was battling cancer. She immediately fell in love with the spirituality behind yoga, helping her to cope with her struggles. After looking for a full-time job and eventually landing a 9 to 5 while also growing her yoga practice tremendously, she knew Corporate America wasn't for her. She decided to complete her 200 Hour program at Juluka Yoga Studio in Hillsdale, NJ in 2011. Since then, Kristen has lived in NYC and practiced all over the city at popular studios such as Jivamutki and Laughing Lotus. Last October, Kristen fulfilled her dream of moving to the West Coast, and currently spends her time practicing with the Hot 8 Community and hiking Runyon Canyon, as well as enjoying the unique qualities Los Angeles has to offer to their fullest.

Kristyn Chalker

After years of injuries from Bootcamp style workouts, Kristyn found her yoga practice, quite by accident, while looking for a lower impact way to keep her body moving. With a background in dance and gymnastics, Kristyn knew quite a few yogis, but never thought the practice fit in with her lifestyle. She was surprised and delighted to find out just how wrong she was. After stepping onto her mat for the first time in 2011, Kristyn found her home in the breath, movement, and peace that yoga brings.

Kristyn believes ardently in the mind/body connection, and views the practice as a way to transcend the mundane aspects of every day life. Her passion for teaching comes from the necessity to share with her students the joy and lightness yoga has brought into her own life.

Heather Rebecca

Heather Rebecca O'Neill began dancing at the age of four and can truly not remember a day without dance being in her life. Heather attended Orange County School of the Arts for high school as a dancer. She began teaching and choreographing at Kindorf Dancers in Cypress at the age of sixteen. This is when she truly began realizing her passion for teaching, crediting her own teachers who inspired her love for dance. Heather then decided to further her training in dance and choreography by attending California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, graduating in 2016 with her B.F.A. in dance. While practicing yoga for 7 years, it wasn't until college that Heather discovered her focus in Yoga Barre with the help of Nancy Norby and the amazing people at Hot 8 Yoga. Yoga Barre became an amazing complement for her dancing, helped with injuries from her dance career, and improved her everyday life. Just like in dance, Heather's passion grew from the amazing teachers at Hot 8 Yoga. Today she is excited to share that enthusiasm and her love of yoga barre with her students!

Omar Lopez

Omar Lopez combines yoga, dance and martial arts to soulful sounds and ancestral rhythms to provide a unique platform of movement meditation.

Rachael Bell

One of Rachael's favorite aspects of life, is the opportunity to encourage, impact, and uplift others. Through teaching Yoga, she's found a creative space to plant seeds of kindness, while offering a practice that brings health on a physical and mental level. Her current mantra is "Contrary to popular belief, yoga isn't only about flexibility. Come as you are, and let's play!".

Judy Lee

Judy started her yoga practice in 2010 as a way to stretch and complement her fitness routines. It wasn't until in 2013, when she first took her hot yoga class, that yoga became more than a just a "workout". She fell in love with how the heat allowed her to meditate deeper into the poses and silence her lower mind - something she never experienced elsewhere. Since then, she's cultivated a desire to delve deeper into yoga, which ultimately led her to complete the 200 YTT certification. She loves leading an energetic and challenging class. She invites you to come to her class with no expectations - you might surprise yourself as to what your body can achieve!

Her second passion besides yoga is being a proud dog parent. Currently, she lives by Mick Jagger's quote: "anything worth doing is worth over doing": because life is too short to not fully enjoy every moment.

Karen Pascual

I was first introduced to yoga in college, but didn’t get involved and more consistent in my practice until 2012. I was going through a transition period in my life and found yoga to be my salvation, I was going every day consistently when the studio I was attending was having their first yoga training, in which I completed my 200hr RYT through Yoga Alliance. From there I gained a ybarre and basic mat pilates certification and have been teaching these styles along with Vinyasa base yoga since. What you can expect in my class is emphasis on alignment, lots of high energy, and embracing that fire within! I fell in love with yoga because of how versatile it can be, and especially the incorporation of a mental, physical, and spiritual practice. Whether young, old, injured, unfamiliar or advanced- yoga addresses a variety of aspects one may be seeking for. Yoga takes you as you are, whole heartedly, and teaches the yogi to do the same. I want my students to have fun in my class, whatever level they may be, to explore their potential and progress past their limits. When incorporating barre/scuplt movements, there is an added high pace ambiance for those looking to condition themselves further by building strength and endurance. Let’s breathe, smile, and sweat!

Siobhan Collins

Born and raised in Washington DC, Siobhan was a competitive athlete and NCAA collegiate swimmer. After graduating college, she experimented with a variety of new workouts and in the Spring of 2015, Siobhan found peace and joy in the yoga studio. She believed that the components of high energy, spirituality, and community that yoga presented were what she was looking for. Like swimming, she found versatility, comfort, and her breathe in yoga sculpt. She completed Yoga Sculpt training with Extensions certification at Corepower Yoga in 2016. She wants her students to have the same experience she did when she first walked into the room, and with a wide variety of music and upbeat energy, she wants you to not only feel comfortable but also find your edge. She can't wait to connect and meet you!

Milena Sarian

Milena developed a dedicated yoga practice in 2005 where she began to immediately notice the positive influence it brought to her life. She decided to leave her full time career in marketing to teach yoga full time in 2007 in order to share this gift with others.

Milena is an experienced yoga instructor who has had opportunities in teaching various styles of yoga and fitness including Hot Yoga, Power, Sculpt, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga and Restorative Yoga. She teaches in the Los Angeles area and has a wide range of students of all levels and backgrounds. "My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to understand the mind-body-soul connection and to bring more joy into life."

Milena brings a light-hearted and compassionate quality to her fun, yet intense classes.

Jillian Forster

Ever since she can remember, Jillian has been dancing. Growing up, she studied various dance styles such as tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and character dance. Jillian then followed her passion and love for the arts to major in dance at Kent State University. There she was able to further her studies in dance adding in modern, post-modern, and African dance. Jillian now holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education. In addition to her love for dance, Jill is also an avid yogi. She has studied various types of yoga such as Ashtanga, Power yoga, Baptiste Power Vinyasa, Hatha and Classic Hot Yoga. She has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Yoga on High in Columbus, OH.

Jillian is constantly looking to better her skills in dance, yoga, barre, and fitness by attending classes, workshops, and trainings. She holds numerous certifications and is always excited to learn more. Jillian is passionate about dance, yoga, fitness, and health and loves to share her passion with others through teaching and training. Her goal is to make each and every client, student, and friend who comes to her for a class or a training to feel better leaving the studio than when they came in.

Kimberly Cantrell

Kimi’s passion for yoga began when she first stepped on the mat in 2011. The combination of mind and body awareness became a very therapeutic experience for her and she has been practicing ever since. To deepen her practice she attended Yoga Works' 200-hour training. Upon completion, she realized she wanted to pursue a career in health and wellness. Her classes are heavily rooted in form, breath, philosophy and most importantly, fun. She absolutely loves seeing her students grow and she is constantly inspired by their strength and dedication. When she's not practicing, she can be found riding her bike, walking her dog, or catching up with a friend over coffee.

Christine Nguyen

Christine V. Nguyen is never quite sure whether she found yoga, or yoga found her. Always an athlete with a natural love for movement, she fell in love at first with the asana — the physical layer of the practice. It was later, when dealing with personal loss and grief within her family and interpersonal relationships, that her true yoga practice began. Yoga helped her cultivate a necessary sense of stillness and even deep gratitude, in what was otherwise a paralyzing period in her life.

Christine received her 200-HR certification through Jennifer Prugh with the Joy of Yoga teacher training in Los Gatos, California. Her training emphasized the deep roots and history of yoga, as well as safely and intuitively opening the body for the physical practice. As a result, her classes are as much about cultivating body awareness and meeting physical challenges fearlessly, as it is about opening up the heart. Christine is also Yoga Sculpt certified, and believes that this fun, challenging format helped build her strength for a more advanced vinyasa practice.

Above all, Christine believes that time on the mat is a move towards a daily practice of joy and gratitude — come and play with her!
