Bailey Kai Brietzke

Bailey has been calling Los Angeles home since 2012. She discovered yoga in her teens when she stepped away from gymnastics and competitive cheerleading and needed something to supplement her love of movement. Having studied music her entire life, she found herself particularly drawn to the Barre style at Hot 8, because it incorporated music so heavily. She completed her Yoga Barre Teacher Training under Nancy Norby in Oct 2016.

Camai Brandenberg

Camai grew up in a large family of athletes, competing in sports, cheer and dance through youth. She competed as a Division 1 Track & Field athlete at Ohio State University and it was during college that Camai was first introduced to yoga as a means of active recovery. Her preferred post collegiate "workout" quickly became Bikram Yoga as she was drawn to the mental and physical challenge the heat provided. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2014, Camai discovered Hot 8 Yoga and instantly connected with the studio and amazing staff. It was in 2017 that she made the commitment to lead others in health and wellness through yoga, embarking on her first teacher training for Yoga Barre. Camai teaches a dynamic class with emphasis on musicality, breath and mental strength but more importantly creates a supportive and challenging environment to empower you.

Lauren Arps

Born and raised in CT, I took my first ballet class at the age of 12 and fell in love right with right away. I continued taking class, performed on pointe and had the amazing opportunity to take a fantastic workshop with the Alvin Ailey dancers at a young age. I took my love for performance and the arts with me to college where I was a dance and theater major and pursued my love of acting at the New York Film Academy.
In 2012 I moved from New York to Los Angeles and took my first yoga class(it was actually online!). Right away I found the connection with breath and body to be the missing part of my should that I never knew I needed. From there I found Barre fitness and knew that this was my dream workout. The fusion of dance with fitness was such an incredibly powerful feeling that I knew was made for me!!

I am currently developing my own dance fitness routines, teaching barre and yoga classes throughout the city. What draws me to teaching is not just the movements and strength that is physically felt but the connections that I have made with people from all walks of life. Seeing others reach their fitness and personal goals is the most beautiful and rewarding feeling I have ever had. Every single day, I am happy, thankful and humble. Why? Because I love what I do!

This class is a dynamic fusion of barre work, light weights, non-impact cardio and yoga designed for developing long and lean muscles. By activating small muscles groups this class provides cross training and aids in injury prevention and recovery. Yoga Barre is a high energy class and is excellent for anyone looking to tone legs, booty, core, and arms to upbeat music. 🔥 🔥 🔥
