Cornelius Jones Jr., E-RYT200, a natural born mover began his career sprinting alongside running backs on patchy football fields while pirouetting and harmonizing in Glee-like Show Choirs at concert halls, amid coming of age in Richmond, VA and Washington, DC. He attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA where he received a BFA in Musical Theater. Broadway bound, at the age of 22, was cast in his first Broadway show Thou Shalt Not, directed & choreographed by Tony award winner Susan Stroman. He then went on to perform as dancer & singer in the Broadway, 1st & 2nd National tour, Mexico, and Las Vegas companies of Disney’s The Lion King. It was at The University of the Arts where Cornelius first met Hatha Yoga, as a course requirement. At the beginning of his Lion King journey he discovered Bikram Yoga for physical recovery. His love for Hot Vinyasa Flow birthed after completing a rigorous Masters Degree and releasing an abusive intimate relationship, as way of mentally & physically detoxifying. He received his Vinyasa Power training through CorePower Yoga and his Yoga Sculpt and Yoga Barre training through Hot8 Yoga. An official E-RYT200, he's also First Aid/CPR certified through the American Heart Association. With Cornelius, a professionally trained dance and fitness entrepreneur, prepare yourself to not only sculpt, tone, and stretch the body, but also build on your natural physical vocabulary to free your body through prana & dance.   • Yoga Sculpt
  • This high-intensity, vinyasa-style flow class incorporates small hand weights and cardio to burn fat and build lean muscle mass. This power-up session builds strength, stamina, and flexibility. Free weights serve as your own personal adjuster as you move through Sun Salutations in a vinyasa-style class, enabling extra length and depth in each pose. Designed for intermediate levels in a room heated to 100-105 degrees.

  • Power 1
  • This Vinyasa-style flow class designed for beginners features a set sequence. Pairing breath with movement, Hot Power 1 is meant to help integrate the mind/body connection. It is a whole body strengthening practice that includes Sun Salutations, standing postures, simple arm balances, core strengthening, backbends, hip-openers, basic inversions, and restorative postures. Hot Power 1 is an excellent class for both new and old students to learn proper yoga alignment and any necessary modifications. Heated to 100-105 degrees.

  • Yoga Barre
  • Hot Yoga Barre is a dynamic fusion of yoga, body sculpting, barre work, and non-impact cardio designed for developing long and lean muscles. This hour-long class is packed with toning exercise that sculpt the buttocks, abdominals, thighs, and arms. The class is filled with strengthening postures at the barre working legs and abdominals fused with yoga postures on the mat to release and lengthen from the barre work. It will also improve your posture and form a sculpted physique. Hot Yoga Barre is an intermediate level class practice in a room heated to 104-109 degrees.
