Mathilde P

I was born and raised in Normandy, France. I settled down in Los
Angeles after calling Australia and Singapore my home.
Three kids later, it was time to get back in shape. As a cardio girl, I was
always sceptic about yoga. But, curiosity encouraged me to take my
first yoga class in 2011. It was "hell"; no balance, no focus... But, I loved
it !
I became very dedicated to my yoga practice. In 2015, I completed my
200 hours teacher training with Hot 8 Yoga under the guidance of
Francesca Asumah. I'm very happy to share this practice with others
and to be part of the Hot8Yoga community.
I teach a powerful class in which the physical challenges balance out the
mental benefits.

Mathilde P instructs the following:
  • 26 & 2
  • This 90 minute set sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Class is composed of a standing series followed by a floor series where each posture is done twice. Through discipline and structure, 26 & 2 allows students to gain strength, flexibility and balance. Conducted without music, 26 & 2 assists in developing the concentration needed for meditation and proper alignment.
