My yoga journey began at 18 when a friend suggested I try a class at the local gym. It happened to be an Ashtanga primary series and from that day forward I was hooked! However, it wasn’t until my last year of college, when my clowning and movement studies professor asked if I would assist his summer yoga intensive, that I started to consider teaching.

My initial 200 hour yoga training was in Canggu, Bali, Indonesia in multi-style vinyasa, viniyoga, and incorporated thai massage. I began my yoga career in Chicago, Illinois where, in my first two years, I was lucky enough to help open five different boutique yoga spaces. Primarily a power vinyasa and restorative-yin yoga teacher, my life changed completely when I was contacted by a high profile triathlon coach to work with her disabled athletes. I was introduced to the true therapeutic benefits of yoga for recovery, pain management, and trauma. I work with students who have, and have had, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, visual impairments, spinal chord injury, chronic pain, and/or nerve damage. Last year I partnered with the Accessible Yoga Movement in Santa Barbara to become one of the organization’s first Accessible Yoga Ambassadors.

I approach life with an open heart and zero expectations; as I believe you should approach every yoga class. I am overjoyed to share my practice with you. Come play!

  • Power Yoga
  • A Vinyasa-style dynamic flow class, Hot Power Yoga uses breath as the primary link between attentiveness and integration of the mind and body. Hot Power Yoga is an intense practice that will flow you through strengthening postures throughout the entire class. This practice is meant to detoxify the body and burn calories through movement, breath, and heat. Designed for intermediate to advanced levels. Heated to 105-109 degrees.

  • Invigor8 Meditation
  • INVIGOR8 MEDITATION will ease you into your day with this energizing 15 minute practice. Dhyana (Meditation) is the 7th limb or step of yoga, from the 8 Limbs of Yoga, where Hot 8 Yoga gets its name. Meditation helps deepen your awareness and helps you start assisting in positive thinking patterns so that you leave class refreshed for the rest of your day. All levels welcome. Low heat. $8 per class, included in all memberships.

  • Power 1
  • This Vinyasa-style flow class designed for beginners features a set sequence. Pairing breath with movement, Hot Power 1 is meant to help integrate the mind/body connection. It is a whole body strengthening practice that includes Sun Salutations, standing postures, simple arm balances, core strengthening, backbends, hip-openers, basic inversions, and restorative postures. Hot Power 1 is an excellent class for both new and old students to learn proper yoga alignment and any necessary modifications. Heated to 100-105 degrees.

  • Hot Yin Yoga
  • Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues of the chest, shoulders, hips, pelvis, and lower spine, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness through long held postures with the use of props. Hot Yin Yoga compliments a more active (Yang) practice because it improves flexibility, ease and balance. Heated to 100 degrees.


  • Yin Yoga Teacher Training - Pasadena
  • Yin Yoga is a practice to create equilibrium and open the body through supported postures. These long-hold postures with deep breathing are a doorway to stillness, insights and repair. In this 4 week training we will cover the purpose of Yin Yoga and how it can be an indispensable tool for balancing a busy life. This training is designed for Yoga Teachers and students to deepen your knowledge of Yin Yoga. We will study the fundamental Yin Yoga Postures and targeted benefits. Learn Basic Teaching Tools on how to sequence and teach Yin Yoga. Deepen your awareness with basic anatomy and the subtle body Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30-6:00 pm October 21st to November 12th, 2017 in Pasadena.This program is for students that want a basic understanding of yin to deepen their practice or for current teachers with 200 or more hours.
