Sabrina M

Born and raised on Rio de Janeiro, Sabrina Mata has an extensive workout background and her first contact with yoga was at a Hatha Yoga class in 2002 where she found herself flowing with the breath. Always fascinated about the holistic world and Paulo Coelho books, she studied Chromotherapy and Reiki while finishing College.

Attracted by the multi cultured world, Sabrina moved to Los Angeles in 2007. Here, she met Bryan Kest Power Yoga, a studio in Santa Monica where she found strength and balance to support her new journey. Yoga have always been part of her adventures and the best discipline to dive deep through her soul to discover more about herself.

Working as a writer during this time in California she published two poetry books in Brazil and in 2015 decided to take the 500 hours YTT at Yogaworks and became registered through the Yoga Alliance. Living the life she dreamed, Sabrina moved forward investing all of her time in the development of her teaching yoga skills and helping others to blossom the best they cary on themselves as students and as human beings.

  • A Vinyasa-style dynamic flow class, Hot Power Yoga uses breath as the primary link between attentiveness and integration of the mind and body. Hot Power Yoga is an intense practice that will flow you through strengthening postures throughout the entire class. This practice is meant to detoxify the body and burn calories through movement, breath, and heat. Designed for intermediate to advanced levels. Heated to 105-109 degrees.
