Erin Sanders has been practicing yoga for over 16 years. In that time, yoga has become a passion, and a calling. Along with her acting career, Erin is on a mission to bring the beauty and serenity of yoga to as many people as possible.
Erin believes that yoga is all about connection: To breath, to movement, and to yourself. She deeply cares about helping students find an element in their practice that is very personal to them, and provides them with tools they can use to take control of their yoga practice, and truly make it their own.
Erin S instructs the following:
Hot Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues of the chest, shoulders, hips, pelvis, and lower spine, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness through long held postures with the use of props. Hot Yin Yoga compliments a more active (Yang) practice because it improves flexibility, ease and balance. Heated to 100 degrees.
A Vinyasa-style dynamic flow class, Hot Power Yoga uses breath as the primary link between attentiveness and integration of the mind and body. Hot Power Yoga is an intense practice that will flow you through strengthening postures throughout the entire class. This practice is meant to detoxify the body and burn calories through movement, breath, and heat. Designed for intermediate to advanced levels. Heated to 105-109 degrees.
Yin and Sound Bath
This class will be accompanied with authentic Burmese and Chinese gongs by percussionist, Jeffrey Grant that work tremendously well for yin yoga. Yin Yoga is a restorative class designed to release tension and calm the nervous system. With the gentle support of props, students will passively stretch and energize the body’s deep connective tissue. Enjoy the therapeutic benefits of deep relaxation in a heated room of 95-100 degrees.
