took my first Hot Yoga class 6 years ago and if you would have seen what I looked like after, we would have laughed together at the thought of me being a teacher.

I found that Yoga is a journey that never ends. It’s not just for dancers or gymnasts. It’s not just for those who are looking to get more flexible or lose weight. It’s not just for those who are seeking peace of mind in stressful situations. I love that Hot 8 Yoga fosters community in a judgement free environment, where people from all walks of life can come together, stare in the mirror, as they look for a glimpse of their true self.

Through these asanas and daily commitment, we hope to cultivate “attitudes of friendliness towards the happy, compassion for the unhappy, delight in the virtuous and disregard toward the wicked, so the mind-stuff retains its undisturbed calmness.” (Yoga Sutras 1.33)

I truly believe that what we do on the mat, whether in 26&2, Barre, Yin or any other class we offer, will help you realize your full potential. It never ceases to amaze me! Namaste.

Jesse C instructs the following:
  • 26 & 2
  • This 90 minute set sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Class is composed of a standing series followed by a floor series where each posture is done twice. Through discipline and structure, 26 & 2 allows students to gain strength, flexibility and balance. Conducted without music, 26 & 2 assists in developing the concentration needed for meditation and proper alignment.
