Rachael Bischoff

Born a Florida native and calling Venice home, Rachael has a love for surfing, getting lost in the mountains, working in action sports, environmentalism, yoga, and sharing the benefits of a balanced practice with others.

After taking her first yoga class in 2010, Rachael quickly fell in love with the practice, completing her 200 hour E-RYT certification in 2013. Through college, her yoga practice kept her grounded and eventually led to teaching her first heated power classes. After graduating from The University of South Florida in 2016, she flew the coupe to California and began working in the action sports industry. Realizing that the 9-5 can be hard on the body and mind, Hot 8 Yoga (and the ocean) became home.

With a gymnastics and cheerleading background, Rachael now focuses her high-energy and positive personality into teaching SCULPT at Hot 8. She hopes to inspire self-love, the practice of not taking yourself too seriously, as well as physical (and mental) strength within each class.

Rachael Bischoff instructs the following:
  • Yoga Barre
  • This class is a dynamic fusion of barre work, light weights, non-impact cardio and yoga designed for developing long and lean muscles. By activating small muscles groups this class provides cross training and aids in injury prevention and recovery. Yoga Barre is a high energy class and is excellent for anyone looking to tone legs, booty, core, and arms to upbeat music.
