Amanda B

Amanda is a native New Yorker, and her greatest love and passion before she discovered yoga was dance. It was her Ballet teacher's partner who first brought her to yoga class many years ago to open her horizons. It was not love at first asana, but something stuck. She brings the discipline, dedication and grace of the dance world to the hot room. She loves the practice of 26x2 because it will always push both the teacher and student to an unexpected and unimaginable place.


Amanda B instructs the following:
  • 26 & 2
  • This 90 minute set sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Class is composed of a standing series followed by a floor series where each posture is done twice. Through discipline and structure, 26 & 2 allows students to gain strength, flexibility and balance. Conducted without music, 26 & 2 assists in developing the concentration needed for meditation and proper alignment.

  • 26 & 2 -1hr
  • This class is a 60 minute set sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. There are 2 sets of the standing series and 1 set of the floor series. Class is composed of a standing series followed by a floor series where each posture is done twice. Through discipline and structure, this class allows students to gain strength, flexibility and balance. Conducted without music, 26 & 2 assists in developing the concentration needed for meditation and proper alignment.
