Yoga first made its way into Shannon’s life in 2001, when she was working for Disney in Florida. After many years of an on-again, off-again practice, she found her Yoga home at Hot 8 Yoga in Santa Monica in 2016. She completed three Hot 8 Teacher Trainings back to back: Yoga Barre in 2017, then 200 Hour Power, followed by Yin in 2018.
Yoga has gifted Shannon with so many life changing blessings...stability, strength, health, healing, the list goes on. Her desire is to share these gifts with all who seek Yoga’s life-affirming power, through loving and nurturing guidance.
This slow-moving class targets connective tissue through seated and lying postures held for long periods of time with the use of blocks and straps. Yin compliments the more active classes offered at Hot 8 Yoga by increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. This practice is perfect for all levels and those recovering from injury.
