Maddy was introduced to yoga at age 10 and has been practicing ever since. She was immediately drawn not only to the physical benefits of the practice, but also its calming effect on her often restless mind. In 2016 she completed her 200 hour teacher training in Pai, Thailand and more recently has become a certified Reiki practitioner. She has also undergone extensive training to become a certified yoga instructor for holistic addiction recovery programs.
Maddy has spent the past 2 years teaching in both her hometown of New York City and in the eastern beaches of Sydney, Australia and is excited to continue her teaching here in LA! Yogis can expect a strengthening warm up, creatively sequenced flows, and a calming final relaxation that will allow them to recharge, let go and cultivate a sense of peacefulness. Set to an eclectic playlist, her classes encourage students to embody the powerful connection between movement and breath and honor their own authentic selves.
