This was my second thirty day challenge that I completed and I feel so amazing.
In September, I was fairly new to the practice and I didn't have my yoga groove but this time around everything was more in sync. At the end of this challenge, I saw tremendous change in my body. My body began to tone and shape in ways that blew my mind. I practiced clean eating more during the month of January and that helped with my body's overall great feeling. In September, I would eat out at burger restaurants all the time and I did not see the results. After combining clean eating and yoga every day, I feel so much lighter. It felt good to have people around me comment on my body and the progress that I made along this journey this past January. I noticed that spiritually, I allowed the universe (My God) to provide for me more and that eliminated a lot of my worry. It also helped to take the Hot 8 Foundations workshop during my challenge month because it helped ground and center my focus. Having the support of that intimate group and my teachers, Deanna, Layna and Rebekah was so crucial. Mentally, I began to see progress and I also saw myself in a more positive light. My confidence level hasn't always been high but yoga has helped me fall in love with myself each day. It's still a battle internally but I have come a long way.
I look forward to the next challenge in May. I'm ready to continue to transform my body, physically, mentally and spiritually. Britney W.
