I fell in love with yoga barre about 3 years ago when I started to realize how transformative the class was to my body. Coming from a ballet background I could really connect with the movements and how the exercises felt in my body. Throughout the years I have been really dedicated to learning as much as I could and expanding my vocabulary in the barre world. I’m so grateful to have this opportunity to be able to teach a workshop where we will dive in on my favorite parts of the body, the glutes and thighs!
This workshop is going to be an incredible workout experience where we will play with channeling your energy into specific muscle groups in order to find your maximum edge. We will essentially be working each muscle group to a point of fatigue to create change in the body. The key to this more reps in each position followed by stretching, which will create not only strong but lean muscle. I’m going to be hands on with every single person in order to help find the correct placement in each position and help go beyond what you think your limit is. It’s going to be amazing to have the time to breakdown each position and exercise so you can really get familiar with activating the muscles and that where the “A HA” moment will happen.
To me, music is EVERYTHING. I cannot wait to play some of my favorite tunes to help everyone get in the zone. I envision everyone focused, sweating and leave feeling elev8ed!
