Yoga Class Descriptions
Hot Yoga: This 90 minute class includes a set sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Hot Yoga begins with pranayama deep breathing to oxygenate and energize the body. The Hot Yoga series will systematically massage and stimulate every muscle, gland, and organ. Each posture prepares the body for the next, allowing students to gain strength, flexibility, and balance. Hot Yoga is an excellent foundation for learning proper alignment and developing the concentration needed for meditation. Heated to 105-110 degrees.
Hot Power Fusion: This hour-long, shoulder-friendly class focuses on strengthening without chaturangas (high to low push-ups). A balanced mix of both our Hot Yoga and Power Yoga styles, HPF will both restore and revitalize your muscles. It includes standing postures, core work, deep hip openers, and inversions. All levels welcome. Heated to 105-109 degrees.
Hot Power Yoga: A Vinyasa-style dynamic flow class, Hot Power Yoga uses breath as the primary link between attentiveness and integration of the mind and body. Hot Power Yoga is an intense practice that will flow you through strengthening postures throughout the entire class. This practice is meant to detoxify the body and burn calories through movement, breath, and heat. Designed for intermediate to advanced levels. Heated to 105-109 degrees.
Hot Power 1: This Vinyasa-style flow class designed for beginners features a set sequence. Pairing breath with movement, Hot Power 1 is meant to help integrate the mind/body connection. It is a whole body strengthening practice that includes Sun Salutations, standing postures, simple arm balances, core strengthening, backbends, hip-openers, basic inversions, and restorative postures. Hot Power 1 is an excellent class for both new and old students to learn proper yoga alignment and any necessary modifications. Heated to 100-105 degrees.
Hot Power Fusion 1: This beginner hour-long, shoulder-friendly class focuses on strengthening without chaturangas. Designed for beginners. Heated to 90 degrees.
Hot Yoga Barre: Hot Yoga Barre is a dynamic fusion of yoga, body sculpting, barre work, and non-impact cardio designed for developing long and lean muscles. This hour-long class is packed with toning exercise (both with and without weights) that sculpt the buttocks, abdominals, thighs, and arms. The class is filled with strengthening postures at the barre working legs and abdominals fused with yoga postures on the mat to release and lengthen from the barre work. It will also improve your posture and form a sculpted physique. Hot Yoga Barre is an intermediate level class practice in a room heated to 104-109 degrees.
Hot Yoga Sculpt: This high-intensity, vinyasa-style flow class incorporates small hand weights and cardio to burn fat and build lean muscle mass. This power-up session builds strength, stamina, and flexibility. Free weights serve as your own personal adjuster as you move through Sun Salutations in a vinyasa-style class, enabling extra length and depth in each pose. Designed for intermediate levels in a room heated to 100-105 degrees.
Hot Yoga Vibe: Yoga Vibe is a class that links breath to movement and beat as we seamlessly practice the postures to soulful sounds. Candles and high volume music set the ambiance of the room. The journey concludes with long stretches, deep hip openers and a guided meditation. Expect less alignment cues to help you remain centered and in your practice. All levels welcome. Heated to 105-107 degrees.
Hot Yin Yoga: Hot Yin Yoga is a restorative class designed to release tension and calm the nervous system. With the gentle support of props, students will passively stretch and energize the body’s deep connective tissue. Enjoy the therapeutic benefits of deep relaxation in a heated room of 95-100 degrees.
Invigor8 Meditation: Ease into your day with this energizing 15 minute practice. Dhyana (meditation) is the 7th limb of the 8 limbs of yoga, where Hot 8 Yoga gets its name. Meditation helps deepen your awareness and helps you start assisting in positive thinking patterns so that you leave class refreshed for the rest of your day. All levels welcome, lightly heated. $8 per class, included in all membership.
Breathing Meditation: Non-heated. This meditation utilizes breathing to open up the body’s energy channels. Available in Beverly Hills only.
