SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS!

  • Bring water! Be sure to hydrate before and after class
  • Wear clothes you can sweat and move in (no underwear or bathing suits)

We have a variety of class offerings to suit your specific yoga needs. All of our classes are all-levels, and we encourage you to try them all to see what works best for you and your body! Let the teacher know of any injuries before class so they can provide modifications.

Barre

This class is a dynamic fusion of barre work, light weights, non-impact cardio and yoga designed for developing long and lean muscles. By activating small muscle groups this class provides cross training and aids in injury prevention and recovery. Yoga Barre is a high energy class and is excellent for anyone looking to tone legs, booty, core, and arms to upbeat music.

Sculpt

This breath to movement class that combines free weights with yoga and cardio to increase stamina and strength. Sculpt is a total body workout designed to sculpt and define every major muscle group. This class is high energy with upbeat music.

Power

This intermediate vinyasa-style class guides students through more advanced postures and creative sequencing. Power links breath to movement and may include arm-balances, inversions and twists to stretch and strengthen the body. Accompanied by music.

26 & 2

This 90 minute set sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises is composed of a standing series followed by a floor series where each posture is done twice. Through discipline and structure, 26 & 2 allows students to gain strength, flexibility and balance. Conducted without music, 26 & 2 assists in developing the concentration needed for meditation and proper alignment.

Hot Power Fusion

This set series is an hour-long, shoulder and wrist-friendly class without chaturangas (high to low push-ups) that combines the 26 & 2 and Power Yoga styles. Hot Power Fusion includes balancing, core work, hip openers and inversions accompanied by music, encouraging mindful focus and detoxification.

Power 1

This foundational class connects breath to movement (vinyasa) and focuses on proper alignment to set students up for success in all styles offered at Hot 8 Yoga. The temperature is set at a lower level to help acclimate students to the heat. Power 1 is an excellent full body strengthening class for both new and experienced students to learn any necessary modifications to improve their practice.

Yin

This slow-moving class targets connective tissue through seated and lying postures held for long periods of time with the use of blocks and straps. Yin compliments the more active classes offered at Hot 8 Yoga by increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. This practice is perfect for all levels and those recovering from injury.

We get it – life can be crazy sometimes. Let us take care of you! Full mat and towel service will be provided whenever you practice with us. We deeply disinfect everything you need for class – please leave your personal mats, towels, and props at home.

IT’S GOING TO BE HOT!

We’re not going to lie – we have the most advanced heating system in the industry. Our state-of-the-art system monitors temperature, humidity, and even oxygen levels to ensure the air you breathe is of the highest quality. Did we mention UV-C lights kill 99.98% of harmful airborne microorganisms including bacteria and viruses?

It takes 3-7 classes for your body to acclimate to the heat. Know that it is completely normal and okay to be a little overwhelmed during your first class! Be kind to yourself: listen to your body, rest when you need to, and try to stay in the room. The more you practice, the stronger you get.


HOT HOT HOT

We use forced air heat (instead of infrared) to heat our practice rooms. Not only does forced air allow for a more consistent temperature throughout the room, it won’t result in painful headaches or unnecessary spikes in your body’s core temperature like infrared does.

UV-C LIGHTS

Our heating system is (and always has been) equipped with UV-C lights proven to disarm 99.99% of harmful airborne microorganisms including bacteria and viruses such as COVID-19. Every time you take a breath at Hot 8 Yoga, you’re inhaling completely disinfected and smell-free air.

HUMIDITY NOT JUST HEAT

No one wants to practice in a desert. Humidifiers in our heating system add moisture to the air when it falls below 50%. Humid air helps hydrate your skin and increase your lung capacity for maximum oxygen intake. Increased lubrication of the throat has been proven to help prevent the contraction of illness.

CO2 MONITORING

The CO2 levels of our practice rooms are constantly being monitored throughout class. As we breathe, we turn oxygen into carbon dioxide. When oxygen levels fall below a certain threshold, our system pumps fresh oxygenated air into the rooms, helping prevent headaches and increase efficiency.

INSTRUCTOR-LED

We pride ourselves on having some of the best and most experienced instructors in the field. But a class at Hot 8 Yoga is not a simple flow through a sequence of postures. It’s more special than that. Every time you get on your mat for class, you’ll be taken on an experiential journey. Every detail – from the sequence to the music, to the lighting and even smells – has been carefully curated to heighten your awareness and stimulate your senses.

GROUP-SETTING

Yoga means union, and here at Hot 8 Yoga we believe in the power of unity and community to foster spiritual, physical, and emotional growth. Our classes are offered in a group setting to help you feed off the collective energy and feel connected to those around you as you move in unison. We encourage you to stay with the flow of class.

Whether you’re getting ready for work or a night on the town, we’ve got you covered. Our showers are equipped with all-natural EO products to wash away toxins and replenish your skin after class. Complimentary amenities include razors, deodorant, feminine products, hair ties, and q-tips. Lockers allow you to keep your personal belongings safe during class (no lock required).
